Saint John Seminary Chapel was painted in 1908 by the Roman artist Gonippo
Raggi, who later became one of the foremost Church artists of the early twentieth
century. The restoration of this Chapel, led by Rohn Design Group, was performed
by Marek Mularski and his team of five artists. It began in the summer of 2011 with
the cleaning and first steps of the restoration of the apse mural. The artists restored
the original colors and forms which, over the years, have lost much of their original
brilliance and details. The restoration will continue, the next step being the Nave
ceiling and the wall murals.
